Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 bags of powdered sugar, 2 lbs each
2 c white Crisco shortening
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c hot water
1 tsp almond oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix everything slowly except the flavoring (almond oil). Start the mixer slowly or the powdered sugar will fly everywhere! Add the flavoring toward the end of mixing. Mix and scrape the bowl for 10-15 minutes until creamy and blended! It is a BIG recipe, but it freezes well!
Tips:
There is a difference in powdered sugar. The generic ones usually have more
cornstarch and the frosting will be stiffer. GW and C&H have less cornstarch and will be creamier. Use the white Crisco as the yellow tends to leave a yellow tint to the frosting even if you use food coloring
