1 bottle Sweet and Sour Mix
1 T lime juice
3-4 T sugar
2 egg whites
Triple Sec
Tequila

This recipe is in 2 parts.. First you make the "Mix"..by blending the 1st 4 items. I pour mine back into the sweet and sour empty bottle and refrigerate until the party starts. Use 1 cup of mix, 1/2 c tequila and 1/4 c Triple Sec.
Blend with enough ice to make a slush. Pour into chilled glasses rimmed with salt.

This recipe is from a favorite "nice" Mexican restaurant that was close to our apartment in California. I asked the bartender for the recipe and he refused to give it out..A friend of ours from church knew him personally and tucked inside my going away gift of Elizabeth Barrett Browning poetry, was the recipe that she had talked him into releasing. Oh..the fun I have had with this smooth drink...:)
