1 lb. butter, softened
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and flavorings. Gradually add flour, alternating with the baking soda mixture. Blend well and roll out dough onto a floured surface. Use cookie cutters to punch out shapes. Bake cookies a greased baking sheet for 10 - 12 minutes or until done.

Cookies may be frosted when cooled.
