Cream Cheese Mixture:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 c sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 c mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Chocolate Mixture:
1 1/2 c flour
1 c sugar
1/4 c cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c water
1/3 c vegetable oil
1 T white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients for Cream Cheese Mixture in a bowl. Beat well with mixer. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside.
For the chocolate mixture: In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda. Stir in water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat well. Fill greased mini-muffin tins 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Drop a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture on each one. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes till done.
*For regular muffin tins, use regular chocolate chips, adding a heaping tsp of cream cheese mixture to the batter and bake 30-35 minutes.
