6 chicken breasts ( can be frozen)
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1/2 c Russian or French salad dressing
1 c apricot jam or preserves
2 T apple cider vinegar
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp thyme or basil leaves
cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Place the chicken breasts in crock pot. Add the onion soup mix, dressing, jam, vinegar, pepper and thyme. Stir to coat. Cook on low 6--8 hours. To thicken mix cornstarch and water until smooth and add to crock pot. Put on high for 15 minutes.
