1- 1 lb. pkg. filo dough at room temp.
1 1/2 c. melted butter

filling:
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. walnuts chopped
1/2 c. sugar

syrup:

heat all ingredents in a heavy sauce pan.
1 c. honey
1c. sugar
1c. water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
cook over med. heat till sugar dissolves boil slow for 20 min.

un roll pastry and separate into 3 equal stacks. place 1 stack into a 17x12x2 baking pan brushing every 2 sheets with melted butter. mix filling scatter 1/3 of it over pastry in pan top with thw second stack of pastry brushing every 2nd sheet with butter sprinkle with second 3rd of filling and repeat with the last stack of pastry half way through the stack stop and add the last 3rd of the filling finish off with last of the pastry. with knife cut into squares. measure remaingin butter and add if nessary to equl 1/2 c. brown lighly over dish.

bake at 350 till golden brown. when done remove from oven and pour syrup over top.
