1 Can (15 oz.) pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1 Can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 C sugar
4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist® yellow cake mix or spice cake mix
1 1/2 C walnuts or pecans, chopped
3/4 C butter or margarine, melted

whipped cream, if desired
additional pumpkin pie spice, if desired

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º (325º for dark or nonstick pan).

Grease, or spray with Pam®, the bottom and sides of a 13 x 9" pan.

In a medium bowl, beat pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar and pumpkin pie spice with a wire whisk until smooth.
Pour into the greased pan.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Pour melted butter evenly over the top.

Bake 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for 30 minutes.

Serve warm or chilled with a dollop of whipped cream sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice, or with your favorite vanilla ice cream!

Store covered in the refrigerator.
