2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecan, chopped
1 Cup dates, chopped
1/3 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped

sift together: flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
blend together: Crisco, sugar
add: eggs, milk and vanilla
blend the dry ingredients gradually mix thoroughly
add: pecans, dates and cherries mix well drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into 2 1/2 crushed corn flakes toss lightly to coat form into balls and place on greased baking sheets top each with 1/4 cherry
Bake 375 12-15 minutes
