1 pound sausage
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 large onion, chopped
2 1/2 cups crumbled Martha White cornbread
2 1/2 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon salt, if desired
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 14 1/2 oz. can ready to serve chicken broth

Heat oven to 350ºF. In medium skillet, brown sausage, drain. Set aside. In same skillet, melt butter. Add onion and celery. Cook until tender. Set aside. In large bowl, combine cornbread, stuffing mix, poultry seasoning, salt, & pepper. Stir in chicken broth, sausage, onion, and celery mixture; mix well. Place in ungreased 2 to 2 1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350ºF for 30 to 35 minutes or until top beginning to brown.

Follow directions for making basic cornbread on the 2 or 5 pound bags of Martha White corn meal mix. Dressing can be used to stuff a 14 to 20 pound turkey. Stuff turkey cavity lightly. Do not over stuff. Follow guidelines on turkey package for roasting times based on turkey weight.
