2 tbsp oyster-flavored sauce
1 tbsp Chinese rice wine
1 tsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp Chinese five spice powder
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 and 1/2 tbsp olive oil (Not Extra Virgin)
12 cloves garlic, crushed
3 dried red chiles, torn in half
1 cup water chestnuts or jicama (cut in 1/2 inch pieces)

1. For the marinade, mix oyster-flavored sauce, rice wine, cornstarch, and five spice powder. Mix in the chicken and let sit for 10 minutes.

2. For the sauce, mix chicken broth, soy sauce, and honey and set aside.

3. Heat pan over high heat until very hot. Coat the pan in olive oil. Add the garlic and stir-fry till fragrant. Add the chicken and stir-fry till opaque, 4 to 5 minutes. Add the water chestnuts or jicama and the sauce mixture. Bring to a boil until the sauce reduces slightly and the sauce looks like a glaze, about 2 minutes.

Note: Serve with hot rice and leafy greens.
