2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup firm margarine or butter
1 cup flaked coconut
2 cups cut-up mixed candied fruit
1 cup snipped dates, if desired
1 cup chopped nuts
1 1/4 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Mix baking mix and sugar; cut in margarine thoroughly. Press mixture with floured hands in ungreased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 x 1 inch. Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle coconut over baked layer. Layer candied fruit and dates over coconut. Sprinkle chopped nuts over fruit. Drizzle milk over top. Bake until light golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into bars about 2 x 1 inch. Makes 70 bars.
