1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 pounds ground beef
3 16 oz. cans Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee spaghetti sauce, with mushrooms
OR use Prego, Ragu, etc.
1 16 oz. can regular tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound fine noodles, cooked, drained
1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in oil. Add mushrooms & brown. Add salt & cans of sauce; arrange in 2 Pyrex dishes, 13 x 9 and 8 x 8 x 2 alternating meat mix and cheese. (Recipe will not fit in 13 x 9 x 2 pan.) Bake at 325º until topping is crusty. 2 layers of all ingredients is all you should use in a single pan. A deep broiler pan works very well. End up with cheese on top.
