2 pork tenderloins, about 3/4 lb each
4 strips bacon

*Teriyaki variation
4 Tbsp soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground ginger

Directions:
Preheat the broiler. Tie the bacon in place on top of the tenderloin. Place the meat on a rack over a shallow pan, 4 inches beneath the broiler element. Cook about 12 minutes in all. Slice and serve. (6 servings)

Teriyaki version:
Combine the soy sauce, garlic, pepper, brown sugar, oil and ginger in a jar. Cover tightly and shake until all the ingredients are well blended. Pour over the tenderloins and let them marinate for several hours. Drain and place on a rack and broil as above.
