2 c meal
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c flour
1/3 t soda
3 T shortening, melted
2 c buttermilk
1 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients with buttermilk and melted shortening. Bake in greased
loaf pan until golden brown, for 1 hour.(start checking it at 45 minutes) in a 350 degree oven. Turn out onto rack and cool.
