¾ c sifted flour
1 egg beaten
2 tsp baking powder
1/3 c milk
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Beat egg and add milk. Mix all ingredients together just enough to moisten the flour mixture. Drop mixture by the spoon over boiling broth or gravy. Cover tightly to hold steam. Boil gently for 15 minutes without opening the kettle. Server at once. Never fail.
