-1 C. (2 sticks) butter
1 C. Crisco
1 1/2 C. sugar
1 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. vanilla
1 bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Add Crisco and sugars. Blend until light and fluffy. Add eggs. Blend together. Add flour, soda and salt. Beat (blend) together. Blend in vanilla. Stir in chips. Preheat oven to 350º. Scoop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 14 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen cookies. Freeze well.
