1 qt white vinegar
3 qt of water
3/4 c sack salt

Bring to boil the above

Pack cucumbers in jar with garlic, dill weed and stack.

One chili peppers optional

Pour boiling hot solution over pickles, leave head space.

Boil lids and seal

There was nothing quite like Nellie's pickles--even those who don't relish pickles (me) loved them -- they were the rage--and, of course, to die for on a hamburger during the summer. Nellie took pride in her pickles. They raised their own cucumbers so it was just a step to her garden to harvest them and then to the boiling bucket---Delish!
