3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
6 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp vanilla
2 eggs beaten in cup then fill with milk to make 1 cup
1/2 cup dates cut fine

Don't over mix

Press down lightly, then cut with cookie cutter

Bake at 350ºF - check after 15 minutes; should be golden on top
