1 pkg. boneless chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 to 2 lbs.)
8 oz. vermicelli pasta (or angel hair or spaghetti)
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chicken broth
2 T. flour
2 T. butter
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 T. butter
1 c. bread crumbs

Directions:
Boil chicken in salted water, then tear or cut into chunks (I usually put a slice of onion, a stalk of celery, and a carrot in the water to add flavor to the chicken, but you don't have to do that). Cook pasta; drain. Melt 2 T. butter in saucepan; whisk in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk and chicken broth; stir till thickened and bubbly. Add cheese; stir till melted. Mix pasta, chicken, and sauce together; pour into 9x13 casserole dish. Melt 2 T. butter; stir in bread crumbs. Top casserole with bread crumbs. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30-40 minutes.
