1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 250g package (about 40 regular marshmallows)
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 cups rice krispies cereal

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla. Add cereal, stirring until coated.
Using a lightly-buttered spatula, press into buttered 9 x 13 pan. Cool and cut into squares.

Our niece Glenda, also made these and pressed half the mixture in the pan. Covered it with a layer of chocolate/peanut butter mixture and covered with the rest of the cereal. It was so good!
