1 cup butter
1/4 cup white sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingrediants together and roll out into small balls, the size of a large marble. Roll balls in sugar and bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes. thse ar at their best when they have been made one or two days before needed.

I remember these as a little girl at Christmas time. My mom and Aunt Solveig made them every year. Roll them in festive sugar and white sugar for the season!
