1/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup well washed currants
1 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbsp lily white corn syrup

Directions:

cream butter and sugar; add the rest

fill tart shells 3/4 full. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes

you can substitute currants for raisins. I have also used dried cranberries that got rave reviews. Another one of my must-do's for Christmas.
