3 cups water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
1 bay leaf
1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing nix
1 (5 lb) rump roast
1 Jar pepperoncini peppers

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine water with all dried spices, salt, pepper, and bay leaf in a saucepan. Stir well and bring to a boil.
2) Place roast in slow cooker, and pour spice mixture over meat.
3) Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours (for best result) or on high for 4-5 hours. Remove bay leaf. Add 4 or 5 pepperoncini peppers and 1/2 cup of pepperoncini juice. Let simmer another hour or so.
