4 cups vinegar
4 cups water
3 tsps of salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Take 25-30 cooked, cubed (or sliced) and drained red beets of medium size. Cover beets with vinegar combination and bring to a boil. Place in jars and seal with hot lids. Cool before storing.
