1 cup dried red beans, wash and drain
3 cups water
1 clove garlic, minced
1-2 stalks of celery, sliced thinly
2 Tbsps parsley, snipped
1 bay leaf, crushed
1 onion, diced
Italian sausage, sliced ¼ inch
½ pound bacon, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Fry sausage and drain. Combine with all other ingredients and cook on low heat (crock pot) for 4-5 hours or until beans are soft. May need to add heated water if dry. If need to thicken, use a little cornstarch and sugar. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
