1 15 oz. can pumpkin
8 oz softened cream cheese* (I prefer to substitute 1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt)
1 to 1.5 c confectioners sugar (to taste)
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
Optional, any or all of following:
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground cloves
dash cardamom

1 box Anna's Swedish Ginger Thins* (very thin not too sweet Ginger Snaps)*
Small carved pumpkin for serving (optional)

*In the past Trader Joes carried their own version of these but I've not seen them lately. I did find Anna's Swedish Thins at my local grocery store (Price Chopper) recently. It is worth looking around to find these near you via internet search,

Mix 1st 5 ingredients in a mixer. Carve small pumpkin, fill with dip. (or use serving bowl). Serve with ginger snaps. Anna's thin wafers Ginger flavor are the best, find in 'gourmet cookies' section at Stop and Shop
