Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1lb round of brie
1/4 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 c sliced almonds
crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Melt butter in a small saute pan. Add the almonds and saute, stirring constantly, until lightly toasted. Place the brie in a baking dish or glass pie plate. (Scrape off the top crust if you'd like: I don't). Cover with the brown sugar, and top with the butter and almonds. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the Brie is melted and the brown sugar slightly caramelizes.
Alternate: microwave at 50% for 1 minute at a time, until melted.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
As pictured I just covered the top with brown sugar and sprinkled heavily with sliced almonds without measuring anything. Put in microwave and heated until I noticed the whole brie puffing up until it looked like a ball. Removed and it deflated, and was the perfect mix of melted brie and caramelized sugar. Did not use butter.
