2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
4 cup flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1 Tbsp shortening
4 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, until thoroughly combined.

Pour out onto floured counter. Roll to desired thickness. Cut with donut cutter.

Fry in 375º oil until browned, turning halfway through cooking. Drain on paper towel.

If desired, immediately shake with sugar or cinnamon & sugar.
