1 3/4 c. warm water
1 T. sugar
1 T. yeast
6 c. flour
1/4 c. olive oil
1 t. salt

Sauce
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper

Dough
Soften yeast in water and sugar. Add 1 c. flour, salt, and oil. Gradually add enough flour to make a dough. Let rise (if you have the time).

Spread out on a pizza pan, greased and sprinkled with cornmeal. Press out dough into pan. Top with sauce and any toppings you like. Let rise (if you have the time).

Preheat oven to 450º. Bake pizza for 20 minutes.

Makes enough for two pizzas.

We make this all the time. I have used canned tomatoes in place of the sauce and paste. It makes for a slightly runnier sauce, but very tasty.
