1 Onion, Chopped
1-3 Cloves of Garlic, Chopped
2 tbsp. Butter
1/2 c. Merlot or Cab.
1/3 c. Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Lemon Pepper
2 Fresh cut lemons
3-4 lb Mussels
1/2 c. Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pan put your butter, olive oil, garlic, onion, wine, and soy sauce on medium heat covered. In a separate pot with boiling water put your cleaned mussels, in and let it cook until the shells open up. Drain mussels; then add to the pan with other ingredients, add lemon pepper. Cook for 10-20 minutes covered. Squeeze lemon as desired.

I've always been a big fan of shellfish and I love the mussels at olive garden. So I decided a few years ago to make them myself and throw in a few extras. This dish makes you feel like your eating at a restaurant without the restaurant price.
Serves: 4-6.
