2 lbs ground beef
6 sausages (1/2 sweet, 1/2 hot)
4 country style ribs (healthy ones) or chicken or both
1 whole bulb garlic
1 large yellow onion
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1/4 c sugar
1Tbsp each (oregano, parsley, basil, red pepper flakes)
2 large jars Barilla sauce or your favorite
1 pkg fresh mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef, sausages, garlic, onions and mushrooms. Add all tomato products. Add herbs and sugar. After this starts to simmer throw in pork and chicken. Simmer all day.

This serves a crowd. Joanne will freeze this and bring it to the Cape before the Falmouth Road Race where at least a dozen of us will sit down to enjoy. We usually cook 3 boxes of penne. (Ammy is Pauline Voyik, Nancy's mother)
