1 lb navy beans
1/2 lb bacon cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces

1 Tbsp mustard
1/3 c sugar
3 Tbsp molasses
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Soak navy beans overnight in a pot of water.

Drain. Add just enough water to cover beans. Boil beans with or without 1/2 lb bacon for 1/2 hour until split. Keep cooking water.

In another bowl combine rest of ingredients. Stir. Combine with beans and pour into baking dish uncovered.

Bake 3 - 4 hours 300º
