1 c rhubarb, cut in 1/4 inch pieces
4 c strawberries
2 c sugar
dash salt
3 Tbsp quick cooking tapioca
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 Tbsp butter
Pastry for double crust pie.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Stir together sugar, tapioca, nutmeg and dash salt. Add sugar mixture to strawberries and rhubarb, toss to coat. If using frozen fruit: optionally microwave on 50% until almost defrosted, stir. Let stand for 15 minutes. Fill pastry lined 9 inch pie plate with fruit mixture. Dot with butter. Place top crust on, trim and flute edges. Bake in a 375º oven for 50 minutes or until golden. Sever warm with vanilla ice cream.
