3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 sticks butter, room temperature
3 c sugar
4 eggs
grated peel and juice of 3 large lemons (about 2 Tbsp peel, 3/4 c juice)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 2 loaf pans. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl with whisk. Cream butter and sugar in large bowl until light. Add eggs one at time. Add enough milk to the lemon juice to make one cup. Mix in dry ingredients alternately with lemon juice mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Spoon into 2 loaf pans, bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour 10 minutes.

*Excellent with Raspberry sauce served over it for breakfast.
