2 TBSP COLD WATER
1 C BOILING COFFEE
1/3 C SUGAR
1 1/2 TBSP GELATIN
2 TBSP COLD WATER
1 1 EGG YOLK
1/4 C SUGAR
1/4 HOT COFFEE

1st PART:
SOAK 1 1/2 TBSP GRANULATED GELATIN IN 2 TBSP COLD WATER FOR 10 MIN. ADD TO 1 CUP BOILING COFFEE, THEN ADD 1/3 C SUGAR AND STIR UNTIL DISSOLVED. POUR INTO MOLDS.

2nd PART:
SOAK 1 1/2 TBSP GELATIN IN 2 TBSP COLD WATER 10 MIN. BEAT 1 EGG YOLK ADD 1/4 C SUGAR AND GRADUALLY POUR ON 1/4 C HOT COFFEE THEN POUR MIXTURE IN DOUBLE BOILER AND COOK, STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL CREAMY. TURN INTO A COLD BOWL ADD GELATIN AND STIR UNTIL CUSTARD HAS THICKENED. FOLD IN 1 C WHIPPED CREAM AND 1/2 TSP VANILLA. POUR OVER THE FIRST PART AND SET A SIDE TO COOL.
