1 C vanilla wafer crumbs (22 wafers)
3 T butter, melted
3 egg yolks
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 C lemon juice
1 C whipping cream (1/2 pint)
3 egg whites
1/3 C granulated sugar

Directions:
Combine wafer crumbs and melted butter; press in bottom of 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Chill. In small mixer bowl beat egg yolks till light and fluffy; blend in condensed milk. Stir in lemon juice. Whip cream; fold into lemon mixture. Pour over crumb crust. Beat egg whites till soft peaks form (tips curl over); gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks (tips stand straight). Spread meringue overfilling mixture, sealing to edges. Bake in 500º oven for 12 minutes or till golden. Cool. Cover top of pan with foil. Freeze firm. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
