1 pkg. yeast
2 c. lukewarm water
1 1/4 T. salt
1 T.
5-6 c. flour
oil
cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Add yeast to warm water; add salt and sugar, stirring till dissolved. Beat in flour 1 cup at a time with wooden spoon. Knead for 8-10 min until smooth. Brush with oil and let rise for 1 hr. Turn out on floured board - shape into 2 loaves. Place loaves on oiled baking sheet which has been sprinkled with cornmeal. Let stand 5 minutes. Slash loaves diagonally 4-5 times. Place in cold oven. Turn to 400º. Place pan of boiling water in oven. Bake 40-45 minutes.
