2 TSP BAKING POWDER
2 TBSP SHORTENING
3/4 C MILK OR EQUAL PARTS MILK AND WATER
DEVILED HAM

Directions:
MIX AND SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS. WORK IN SHORTENING WITH KNIFE OR FINGER TIPS. ADD LIQUID GRADUALLY, MIXING WITH KNIFE TO SOFTEN DOUGH. ROLL ON FLOURED BOARD TO 1/2" THICK, CUT WITH LARGE BISCUIT CUTTER, THEN SPREAD HALF OF EACH ROLL WITH DEVILED HAM. FOLD OVER AS FOR PARKER HOUSE ROLLS, PLACE IN BAKING PAN, BRUSH WITH MELTED SHORTENING. BAKE IN HOT OVEN ABOUT 20 MINUTES.
