3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 to 1 1/2 cups flour
1 T shortening
Syrup:
1 cup sugar
water to cover sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and roll out on a floured surface and cut into strips
Fry in vegetable oil.
Syrup
Boil until it starts to thicken.
