2 C boiling water
2 C Bran Flakes cereal (can use All Bran)
3 C sugar
1 C Crisco (may substitute marjarine)
4 eggs
1 Qt. Buttermilk
4 C All-Bran cereal
5 C flour
5 teaspoons baking soda
5 Tablespoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water over 2C bran cereal. Set aside. Cream crisco and sugar, add beatine eggs and buttermilk. Add All Bran cereal and mix well. Sift together the flour, soda and salt. Add to the cereal mixture, then fold in the soaked bran. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Batter can be frozen, and also keeps in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
