1 egg, beaten
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 C milk
2 T shortening, melted
1 C sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 C brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 T flour
1 T butter, melted
1/2 C coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl combine egg, sugar, milk, and melted shortening. Mix well. Set aside. Sift flour and sift again with baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture and stir well. Pour into greased 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Mix together remaining ingredients. Mix well and sprinkle over cake batter. Bake in 375º oven for 25 minutes.
