1 prepared angel food cake
¼ cup (no-sugar-added) strawberry fruit spread or jam
2 cups (fat-free) cool whip
1 ½ cups chopped strawberries
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Slice 1 inch thick layer off the cake. Set aside. Hollow out cake leaving ¾ inch border on sides and bottom of cake. Beat together jam and 1 cup cool whip until fluffy. Fold into chopped strawberries. Spoon strawberry mixture into hollowed cake. Replace top of cake. Beat together remaining cool whip and vanilla. Frost cake. Chill. Can garnish with fresh strawberries just before serving.
