FIRST MAKE THE NEAPOLITAN, THEN SLICE IT LENGTHWISE. SPREAD THE NEW CUTS SIDES OF EACH SLICE WITH THE FILLER, PLACE LIGHT STRIPS ABOVE THE DARK. THAT GIVES THE CHECKERBOARD EFFECT. PRESS TOGETHER FIRMLY, THEN SLICE AT THE END IN GENEROUS THICKNESS. THE LITTLE CHECKERBOARD CUBES BREAK OUT AND MAYBE EATEN WITH A FORK OR FINGERS.
