4 lbs back ribs (cut into serving portions)
2 onion sliced
Salt and pepper
1 recipe Barbecue Sauce for Ribs (recipe under sauces)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ribs in large kettle. While browning, slice the onions and put over the ribs. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Remove the browned ribs from kettle and dip each portion into the sauce, covering completely. Put ribs back into kettle and place in 350º oven. Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally and turning ribs. Remove cover and bake 20 minutes longer. Serve with left over sauce.
