2 lamb shanks, 3/4 lb each
2 T cooking oil
2 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
3/4 C orange juice
2 T teriyaki sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. curry powder
1 C uncooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
In a 3 quart saucepan brown lamb shanks in hot oil; drain off excess fat. Combine orange peel, orange juice, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, and curry; pour over meat. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours or till meat is tender, turning occasionally. Skim fat from pan juices. Serve meat with pan juices over rice.
