4 pork loin chops, cut 1 inch thick
1 8 oz can pineapple chunks
1/4 C chopped blanched almonds
2 T butter
2 T brown sugar
1 T white wine vinegar
2 tsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Grill pork chops over medium coals for 20 minutes. Drain pineapple, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1/2 cup; set aside. In small skillet heat pineapple and almonds with butter 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Combine juice, sugar, vinegar, and cornstarch; add to mixture in skillet. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Keep sauce warm. Brush chops with a little sauce; grill 15 minutes more or till done. Serve remaining sauce with chops.
