2 cups flour
1 tsp ginger
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening, sugar, egg and molasses.

2. Sift together dry ingredients, add to mixture.

3. Roll dough in balls, dip in sugar.

4. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.
