1 egg
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup milk
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
Salt, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together eggs, sugar, and shortening. Add remaining ingredients.

2. Let dough set for 10-15 minutes before baking.

3. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet or roll out and cut into shapes. Bake.

Bake at 350º for 12 minutes.
