1 Can Garbanzo Beans
2 Tbsp Tahini (sesame butter)
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
3 Scallions (chopped)
1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic (about 2 cloves)
1 Tsp Cumin
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Cup Roasted Red Peppers
1/2 Tsp Chili Garlic Paste
Pinch of Ground Cloves
Pinch of Paprika
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Drain and rinse garbanzo beans (reserve some of the liquid).
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
Add a splash more lemon juice (or reserved liquid from the garbanzo beans) to get your desired consistency and/or texture.

Spread on whole-wheat pita bread, crackers or as a dip for vegetables such as celery, carrots, etc.

Skip the chili garlic paste if you do not want the spicy kick. Make a day ahead to allow the spices to blend well.
