vegetable soup pack (cabbage, celery, carrots, onion, bell pepper, turnip)
beef shanks or small bone-in chuck roast
one can of diced tomatoes
beef and/or chicken bouillon cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a large pot 2/3 full with water and add meat. Cook for about 45 minutes until meat is almost tender. Add sliced onion and bell pepper; lots of shredded cabbage, chopped celery, carrots, turnips and whatever other vegetables you want. Add plenty bouillon cubes (I usually put around 8), onion powder, garlic powder, dried Italian seasonings, tonys. Cook about another 30-45 minutes or until vegetables are very soft. Add maybe 1/4 cup small shaped pasta to water can cook another 5 or 10 minutes. After you turn pot off, pasta continues to expand.

Personal Notes:
Sometimes if I have cans of broth, I use that instead of all water. I just get the right of amount of liquid, and then if I need more flavor, I add bouillon cubes to the pot until it tastes good.
